Despite the name, the aquatic genet (Osbornictis piscivora) is a poor swimmer. It is so named because it's diet consists mainly of the fish and other aquatic creatures it captures by diving into the streams of its native Zaire. Unlike other genets, this species does not have any bands or spots on its body nor rings on its tail.
