Product Description
Our sweet stuffed mini opossum finger puppet measures 4 1/2 inches from nose to rump. It's tail adds another 4 3/4 inches. It's "fur" is a super soft material that feels like silk. The nose and eyes are hard plastic, the ears a soft leathery fabric, the feet and tail are cloth and the whiskers are nylon strings. The tail has velco on the tip and base to form a loop when folded in half. Slide your finger through the loop and into the pocket on the underside and it will look like the 'possum has its tail securely wrapped around your finger. The opossum is a marsupial of the order Didelphimorphia endemic to the Americas. The largest order of marsupials in the Western Hemisphere, it comprises 103 or more species in 19 genera. Opossums originated in South America and entered North America in the Great American Interchange following the connection of the two continents. Their unspecialized biology, flexible diet, and reproductive habits make them successful colonizers and survivors in diverse locations and conditions.
