Product Description
Our Small Plastic Tiger Shark This small plastic tiger shark is made of solid plastic and measures 3 1/4 inches from nose to tail. The name "TIGER SHARK" is printed on the bottom. Our shark has a small silver plastic fish in its mouth.
Fish are among the typical food sources for a tiger shark. But tiger sharks are not picky. It takes a lot to feed these gigantic animals, and they will eat almost anything they see. Actual food sources (besides fish) include large and small marine animals such as turtles, birds, other sharks, and even dugongs or manatees. Tiger sharks have been found to eat garbage. Some of the unlikely items that have been found in their bellies include tires, car license plates, parts of boats, jewelry, books, baseballs, tin cans, clothing, and even coal. Needless to say, this list of garbage is not the most nourishing food for the shark. Our plastic shark replica would look nice in your undersea shoebox diorama. See our other sharks and sea animals. Tiger Shark Facts We thought you would enjoy this amazing video showing gigantic tiger sharks in the Bahamas. It has been making its way around the Internet in an effort to bring recognition and awareness to the fact that sharks are not only about teeth and their potential to kill. There is a lot more to this interesting, ancient animal, as you will see, especially in the second video. Both videos were made in an effort to raise awareness about shark conservation. Believe it or not, the video is not faked. It is real. In the second video you will see how they made the first one.
